Days of Summer-Fairies Flowers and Cartwheels

We were so excited to go to our friend Kayla's Fairy Tea 5th birthday party.

Complete with fairy berry tea, wings, making fairy houses with  flower fairies and bubbles.

Doesn't get much better than that.

Since the weather has been ... again..spectacular, we have been outside a lot.  Roller skating, biking, bubbles, hula hoops...oh and cartwheel practice.

Our flowers, raspberries and some of our veggies have been flourishing.  And too the weeds.  We will weed and feed right before Amelia and I leave as she has been having way too much fun on the grass as of late to say.."stay off." :)

Had a whole raised bed of lettuce...but it is now completely gone.  My guess...rabbits. Oh well...they like it too.  Think the pots on the deck are the key to a good crop.

Along with raspberries we have a fresh batch of dandelions.  They are almost impossible to keep up with.

Off to the East on Wed. AM.  Will try to post on the adventures as we go along. :)

A Baby Moose, Alyeska and Morning Dances

Continuing with our animal sightings...

These two were roaming around this past morning.

We headed to the Seven Glaciers Restaurant for my birthday this past week.

Our last visit last May,  I posted about here.

Once again we ended with the Baked Alyeska. :)

Then headed out to the snow.

The Fiddlehead Festival was going on too and we took one last glance at the concert on our way out.

Definitely one of my favorite restaurants...and places.

Many a mornings we have dance performances...lots of costume changes and waiting in the "wings" (doorway) til the right music comes on.

This morning when she had enough, she plopped down for a book.

Heading East next week...need to finish packing.

Nothing or Something

Enjoying a week of nothingness...

or somethingness...depending on how you look at it.

Trip back East is sneaking up.  Need to begin thinking of what to pack for Amelia and I.  Dad will be holding down the fort for this trip.
