Halloween 2012

Presenting … Miss Amelia Earhart. 

She got to dress up for her dance class last week and wasn’t too sure about the whole thing.  Didn’t like the pants or the hat.  I had to promise her that there would be a treat at  class ONLY if she wore a costume.  Luckily, there was and luckily she wore the costume.

We headed out trick or treating yesterday.  Of course, it snowed the day before, however you will find that the snow helped her come out of her “I am scared to death mode and will never trick or treat again!” mode, and let me at least carry her to a few more houses.

I don't think she quite understood what she was about to partake in.

"Uh mom didn't mention any of this.  Where is the candy??" 

"Who's house IS THIS?!"

"WHO WAS THAT?! I do not care about the candy...get me out of here!" 

"Is he behind me?"

"Oh yeah snow!"  

"Ok..I'll go up if you carry me, hold my bag, say trick or treat and get the candy"

Happy once again.

We gave Amelia her treat bag the night before.  Loved the Unicorn Horse.  Funny, I don't remember ever getting presents on Halloween.  I just can't resist and besides there was no candy in the bag. :)
