Christmas Day

There is nothing like Christmas morning...

She gets a stocking from Santa and one filled by us.

There's nothing cuter than footed pajamas either.

Had to check on carrots, milk and cookies and found Santa's note.

She said she wanted us to open the present from her first.  Painted glitter ornament she made in school.  My favorite present obviously.  Now it was her turn...

This is a unicorn household.

Opened an Elsa and Anna nightgown...it was time for a coffee break for Mom and Dad while Amelia changed.

Time for a change in present opening position (think she was getting tired).

And time to get back in our footies...she did this pj swap several times during present opening which I took advantage of to refill coffees :)

Thanked Dad for a great Christmas.  Sigh...Dads get all the glory.

Time to play ... worked on Legos and got a few Tattoos.  :)

Thank you Santa...

Only 362 days left til Christmas 2016!

Christmas Eve

First we had to make more Beados with our new Beado machine we received from our neighbors.

Then cookies for Santa.

Dad helped too.

Needed lots of icing.

She made our "family" for Santa and a reindeer.  Dad has a green shirt and I have a white dress on.

She said goodbye to Kevin, her Elf.

And opened a game and new footed pjs  Christmas Eve.

Then she had to change into her pjs (her second favorite gift she says), to hang her stocking for Santa to fill...

then leave a note, carrots and chocolate milk :)

off to bed.

Then sometime after I left our presents out...Santa came.

Next post...Christmas Day!

All Things Christmas

It's nearing Christmas morning and since we have crammed in so many things the week before Christmas, I am just going to post all the pics with a brief description as to not lose the Christmas feeling before the onslaught of 6 million photos on Christmas Day :)

Here we go:

Reindeer Farm, Palmer AK
Amazing...so glad we are this close to Santa :)

 Yep, Elsa was there too.

Crow's Nest at the Captain Cook Hotel for dinner with friends.

Amelia got this for dessert...

I got this...

In the lobby of the Captain Cook we googled over the Gingerbread Village.

Time to make a log cabin house all of our own...

Playdates with friends...

Even made a peppermint bowl for our neighbor's gift basket.

Yet,  i didn't remember to take photos of our Christmas card.  THAT will have to wait til Saturday.  Merry Christmas.
