Summer in Alaska is a beautiful thing.
We have been gardening...
rhubarb picking...
and painting...a lot.
Our gardening decor has been inspired by our neighbors, Renee and Walt. They were gone one weekend and asked us to just check their plants for watering. We biked over and all were fine, but Amelia insisted they weren't. I believe she just wanted to use their hose.
We have been purchasing our own bird feeders and garden essentials to mimic their gorgeous gardens. Amelia said "it is not nice to copy". I said "it is the greatest form of flattery...to inspire." :) Here are a few shots of their cottage wall.
We have a long way to go ... but we are ... inspired!
