Amelia had her first ice skating competition a week ago with pal Kayla.
They were in the couples division. Both were more than nervous.
First, pointers from coach Malia...then it was show time.
Watched a bit of the competition.
Then they took the ice...
Applause...applause.
Time to wait for the results.
First place...and a blue ribbon!
They couldn't have been more proud...moms, dads and coaches too!
And...they got to perform at the Holiday Ice Show the next week.
Where they dazzled once again.
Olympics...here we come!
