A NY Summer Part 1

I had visions of grandeur...daily posts of our adventures in NY, but sometimes when living the adventure, priorities tend to change.

We were gone 3 1/2 weeks.  To a 7 year old that feels like months.   So happy to get there and so happy to be home is our motto.

We began the trip by getting in at 1 AM to surprise my youngest niece Andrea.  She thought we were going to miss her graduation and get in the following Monday.   Surprise!   It was caught on camera but it looks a bit like a scary movie than a surprise.  Will get that on youtube eventually.

Olivia and Cole showed us their new house at the party before the party and ended up in...the... shower?

There was favorite uncle worship...

and photos before dinner.

Many laughs were had at Andrea's expense.

Of course there was more than the graduation....there were baseball games ...

... and cousin catch up time.

Not to mention...a new puppy.  Well not for us...for my niece Katie and her family.  Welcome to the fam, Piper.

We visited friends where we got a Henna tattoo and loved it.

We strolled Skaneateles with the graduate and ate lunch at the Sherwood Inn, one of our favs.

There was swinging, swimming and sand sculpting with my sister Donna at Gillie Lake...

and the zoo, build a bear and a carousel ride.

Not to mention selfies, snapchat and strawberry eating.

And that was just the first week and a half.

Much more to come.
