Dance Performance Take 2
After taking a few photos at home, we headed to the theatre.
Rehearsal and Pictures went great.
Snapped a few of my own as well.
She was in great spirits.
And danced like she always does...fantastically.
Next day...Performance at 4pm.
At 2 pm I started her hair and makeup. She asked to put her head down. What?! I felt her forehead. HOT. 102 to be exact. OH NUTS! Although Amelia hates taking Tylenol (makes her sick to her stomach at the thought of it), I gave her a chewable and we crossed our fingers.
It helped having her teacher show up and sit with her backstage! She had 3 of her students in this class.
Then it was showtime. 4 minutes that is all she had to do....
And like a true performer...danced brilliantly once again.
Then without fanfare, we went home to recuperate.
She missed the next day of school, but was back the following 2 days ... for the very last days of 2nd grade.
Oh where, oh where does time go?
