Our final day of pre-school was Wednesday and a picnic ensued on Friday.
Lots of fun, followed by a presentation by her teachers.
They gave each student a notebook with work they did thru the year. It included a cd and a book for them...it is simply fantastic.
She played with it all day and now I am in the process of duplicating it so she has her book to play school with and I have a very beautiful keepsake.
Couldn't have picked a better place or a nicer group of people.
I made them all a mug filled with a few select chocolates and a gift card.
Made them as I did with the dish in the previous post, however, this time I had vinyl letters of their first name and used my gold oil pen to to "dot" all the way around. Oh! I made peanut butter dots and brownie dots for the picnic too. Make as you always would but use a round small cookie cutter to cut the dots! Grrr....was in a rush and didn't take pics.
Then I just hand wrote their names on back and "signed" the bottom with Amelia's name and date. Baked as before ... 350 for 30 minutes and let cool in oven. I really didn't want to do coffee mugs...but these were too snazzy to pass up. :)
Lastly, I was busy doing what I am sure was a chore and realized I hadn't heard "Mom" in awhile. Hmmm. What is she getting into I thought.
Caught her in the act.
