No luck in posting during our month long journey. Home now and sifting through photos. After flying into NY we quickly headed South to Ohio, where Rob flew in the day prior. All of our legs needed a good stretch.
We spent quite a bit of time at Grammy and Grandpa Art's Farm feeding the goats, ducks and chickens at the farm across the street.
Art's daughter Brittany was visiting from Florida too and we headed to the Mohican
for a good hike to the falls ... that was a trickle :)
Of course, there were lots of Merry-Go-Rounds. First, the Merry-Go-Round Museum in Sandusky.
and the Mansfield Carousel...
...where we all stopped for hot dogs at the Coney Island Diner across the street.
And this is what happens when we go for a ride on Captain Arts boat.
There were street fairs and petting zoos...
...smores...
and so much fun at Grandpa and Oma's Pool...
Cousins showed up for couple of days of super fun toward the end of our stay...
...but then it was time for Amelia and I to pack up, leave Dad for a couple weeks, and head North once again.
I didn't post on our fantastic journey to Columbus for the American Girl store with Oma and Aunt Natalie, but that will be next time...stay tuned.
