An Alaskan Fall day awaited us at the ever fabulous, fantastically fun, Fall Festival at the Reindeer Farm! We absolutely LOVE this place and this year if felt very much like a Fall Festival, sans snow! Joining us once again were a couple of Amelia's buddies (and a buddy brother). There was no way we wouldn't have fantastic...fabulous...fun!
While we waited for her second buddy to arrive, we saw these two! Lucky we did as we didn't see them for the rest of the day!
No worries though as we found Kristoff later on.
First up...Hay maze. Get to the pirate and his ship and find a chest of gold...
and a slide.
Time for some games. First up...Ghost Toss...
Wow Wee!
Now let's spend 10 minutes thinking about the prize we want to pick.
Let's round up some pigs at the Pig Roundup Game.
Another 10 minutes thinking about what prize to get...it's serious business. Let's take a break from games and head over to the Field of Fun.
There was salmon riding. This looks easy...
...but salmon are slippery little devils. Hold on tight!
Really Tight!
Off to tube rolling. I didn't get any pics of the bouncy house they did just before this as ... well...I didn't go in...but it was fun enough for them to go thru 4 or 5 times!
My favorite pic of these three of the whole trip.
This really does not seem like a good idea...
...but when you are 7 and spin around til you want to throw up ... you do what 7 year olds do...
...you get back in and go for another spin.
Hey! Let's go climb on some hay bales!
What tall (and strong) friends do for thier shorter friends.
Please...just stand still for one second...all of you. Thanks.
Ready...Set...
GO!
Back to games...how about Antler Lasso?
And chucking potatoes at Pokemon.
And zombie killing...can't forget that.
Don't forget the prize (wait 10 more minutes).
Let's practice some songs with our prize whistles.
Time for some spins on the ole' reindeer train...
Mmmmm...hot chocolate on the tractor on our way to...
Halloween Walk...
Bunny holding...
and of course..Reindeer Feeding...sort of...
...they weren't hungry at all. Notice the antlers on the guy/girl in back...they warn you to never touch the antlers this time of year...don't think I would at ANYTIME of year :)
Time to wait ...and wait...and wait for the Pony Rides. Let's entertain ourselves with making faces.
Yee Haw! This was really the only line we waited in and since it was our last event, we didn't mind at all.
After 4 hours...it was time to head home...
...until their Christmas Festival in December! Stay tuned!
