A quick tag-a-long work trip to Kenai with Rob, gave Amelia and I a couple rainy/cloudy days to visit a few of our favorite places.
Kenai Beach is a haven for morning walks and rock collecting.
We waited til the walk back to collect any large rocks we had to have.
Not this big of course.
Then it was time to hit our favorite lunch spot...The Burger Bus...delicious!
That evening we decided on pizza at the St. Elias Brewing, where the decor is...well...eclectic.
We made use of the pool each day too.
On the ride down, we did our traditional stop in Girdwood, Alaska for a pastry and...
...on the way back, it looked a bit more like this.
A great getaway ... before the big trip back East. Stay tuned!
