Last year due to the earthquake, I didn't make a Christmas card so this year I wanted to get a head start! I wanted a card with a very simple message and started a photo shoot right after our tree was up. Here are a few of my favorites that I had to choose from.
This is what I ended up with.
Made the outside of the card like an envelope with an open top to pull out the middle with the attached glued on ribbon to reveal:
Then flip it over for an important public service announcement!
All printed on heavy card stock and glued with a heavy duty glue stick. Envelope isn't pictured but made with 11x17 slightly less weighted paper and cut and glued to have the card fit perfectly. Used a few different fonts for card and envelope...all hopefully making it look old fashioned and Christmasy!
