I love the hustle and bustle of Christmas time. Ours begins shortly after Halloween. Decorating, shopping, crafting, baking and cocoa drinking, it all makes for a long and happy holiday season. Here is what it kind of looked like.
Tree decorating takes days.
We have 2 trees...our main tree.
And our second tree in our dining room that was captured the first day "Kevin", Amelia's elf, arrived. Usually around Nov. 21st.
He was spotted throughout the house upto and including Christmas Day.
Amelia's Nutcrackers stood guard.
And the advent provided daily excitement.
We had a very popular Hot Cocoa stand at the kitchen counter. Amelia's friends found this to be spectacular.
We put together gifts for teachers and dance friends and classmates.
Went Christmas light viewing with a couple of friends and found the most fantastically decorated house whose lights blink to the tune of a local Christmas radio station that you can hear in your car!
Lastly, baking of all kinds including Christmas Cookies. Again...these take days.
For Santa:
And for us:
Up next: We had a very ambitious Christmas Card this year that will be in our next post.
After that we have Christmas Morning!
Keeping the holidays going!
