The Art of Summer

This might as well be called the Summer of Art.  From sketching to painting squishes, our dining room table has been covered for what seems to be weeks.

Remember the squishies we painted...

"Cheeto" the dragon is our favorite.  Named such as his claws look like they have been in a cheeto's bag.

And the so far completed collection...Nessie, cloudie, and bubbles all turned out rather nicely.  They are in the no squish section on Amelia's desk (much like Moriah Elizabeth... one of her very favorite YouTubers and source of inspiration).  Use fabric paint so it has elasticity and puffy paint.   A little squish gets diminished but they are super cute and ARTFUL!

We are ready for new ones now.  Even picked up a birdhouse that Amelia quickly attacked with her acrylics.

My makeup container turned out pretty cute too!

And from the last post and her hydro dipped sneakers that cracked after wearing...we scraped off the crusty paint, roughed them up a bit and tie dyed them along with a couple of other items.

She was quite happy with the outcome.

We tried some stickers made from puffy paint that turned out great and are adorning our windows.  If you try this...just lay the paint on THICK on wax paper or some sort of study plastic.

Will post on our new creations and her water bottle that is waiting for our new paint pens to come from Amazon.  Feel free to visit her YouTube Channel for more adventures Amelialand and check out her gaming channel too TheJamFam.
