Our first of several
Christmas’ began at Opa and Oma's.
I used to buy all girl things in 3’s, one for my niece Andrea, one for Rob’s sister Natalie and another for our friend’s daughter Kylee, as they are all about the same age. I still kind of do, being new teens they seem to have the same interests. Amelia too seems to find all of them equally enjoyable, more so than any other group she encounters. Not sure if it’s because they are girls or that they are young teens. They don’t immediately approach her and oppose no apparent threat, or …hmmm… maybe it’s their hair…long and straight…or that they wear nail polish or the shoes...hahahha not sure really…but Amelia thoroughly enjoyed both her cousin Andrea and her Aunt Natalie on this trip. She got to visit Kylee this past summer with the same effect.
Natalie, we were told, picked out all of Amelia's gifts. Perfection. Ours too of course :)
I managed to get a few shots of everyone together, which is a rarity with any of the families it seems, unless I plan WAY in advance :)
Lastly, although the dogs and cats were outside, Amelia is mesmerized by them...and they by her apparently :)
Next: Christmas with Grammy and Grandpa Art at Grammy's Beach.
