In lieu of a full blown Halloween Party...
we opted for a small playdate with friends.
Amelia claimed at the end of the day...it was the best day ever.
Here's why...in a bit of a rhyme...
Spiderwiches, Mummy Dogs, Rigabony with eyes.
small bones in pumpkin cups for hands of small size.
There were pumpkin head cuties and pumpkin shaped carrots...
trail mix and salsa with chips to dip in it.
A mummy sat watching, over it all...
as it began to feel like a party for all!
There were games of bingo, ring toss and more...
and Prizes..and Prizes...
...and Prizes..Galore.
They played ...
and they played...
and played...
...til no more.
Quietly sat...
until ghoulish once more.
But at the end of the day, Amelia would say...
it was friendship that mattered...
on this particular day.
