Summer In A Nutshell

Spring was beautiful here in Illinois and Amelia had her first trail ride on a Sunday afternoon.

She finished up school and we began the search for a new home. We were very tired of renting and it looked like we would be here until Amelia graduates high school.  

She finished up softball with a 2nd place trophy....

and got her braces off!

We closed on our new home, packed up and moved in.  We love it, especially the 1/2 acre lot that is a rarity here.  No sooner than we moved in, we headed back to Alaska for a visit.

Friends since the first 20 seconds of kindergarten, they were reunited once again. 

They had a blast.  Saw many of our Alaskan friends and promised we would be back every couple years.  Headed home to get ready for visitors! My nieces and nephews to be exact.  At first we thought we would need them to help us move, but everything went so quickly and smoothly that we just enjoyed their company instead.

This very busy summer was coming to a close.

Fall was upon us.

Next up a new house for Halloween.
