Off to the Carrousel

It was a cold day even by Alaskan standards.  A good day to head to Mansfield to the Richland Carrousel Park for several  carrousel rides.  But first...let's stop at the Prairie Peddler Festival where it was a rain/snow mix...OH and a pony ride.

The Prairie Peddler is a craft fair in the woods...booths littering a pathway where merchants brave frequent downpours of snow / rain mix by diving into whichever lucky peddler is close by :)

Hot cocoa was definitely needed...and gloves for Grammy.

After an hour...it was time to warm up officially.

I wish we had a carrousel here in AK...

Then to Coney Island for a Hot Dog.  WARNING: Do not buy coneys in Ohio....see previous post.

After a good nights sleep, it was time to head down to the farm.

Grammy and Grandpa Art purchased their farm from a gentleman who lives across the way.  He had one of the buildings as an art studio and we have one of his gourds hanging in our kitchen ... will have to post on that someday.  Definitely, magical.

Grammy and Grandpa Art have been hard at work keeping the deer from their garden.

Amelia thought the gate was fantastic!  And even though things were dying off now that it was October, Amelia loved it.

Directly across the way is a neighbor with...llamas.

The Llama Whisperer.

Time to head back to the house and carve the first pumpkin...but first a photo shoot.

Dinner that evening with the Mallory Family on our wedding anniversary at the Mohican Lodge where it all began.

Next stop...THE COLUMBUS ZOO!!!!!

Will try to finish up the month long vacation by posting a few times a week...as I am forgetting the order of everything! :)
