As we wait for Amelia to wake up this Christmas morning, thought I would share a few pictures of the past few days.
Made our snowman family using Amelia's last 3 fingers...this and other finger projects are plastered all over pinterest.
I said last year I would only post if any decorating is new. This star is not, but the cabinet is! :) Think I missed a few pics of decorations. If it is not too far past Christmas, I'll make sure to post.
Each of her advents had a joke in it. She said she wants to keep them all. My personal fav: "Knock knock. Who's there? Mary. Mary who? Mary Christmas!" She told this one at school.
Day before yesterday, Kevin the elf left a bag of magic reindeer food and a letter from Santa.
Yesterday, Christmas Eve, we were busy making blueberry coffee cake for Christmas morning, a complete turkey dinner, a visit from our neighbors, finished Santa's cookies, opened up 3 gifts...pj's, Olaf in trouble game and Ants in the Pants to be played as tradition states...Christmas Eve. Of course ... as we watch Prancer. Making mental note to have pizza on Christmas Eve....can't enjoy the moment when cooking ... then cleaning. :P
As Amelia has not been 100% this holiday season, dealing with a stomach bug, she really had no interest in decorating cookies. I brought them to her as we watched our movie. Without taste testing, she iced her chosen ones for Santa. This is my fav:
It was time to hang the stocking, put out carrots, cookies and chocolate milk.
I didn't realize Santa had so many reindeer.
After reading Polar Express, Yes Virginia there is a Santa Claus and Twas the Night Before Christmas...it was time for bed.
Something woke me in the middle of the night. Thinking it might be a large animal trying to get in, I investigated.
