Since Halloween...

Let's catch up...

Here are a few things we have been doing since Halloween:

Slaying dragons.

Making pies.

Playing.

Taking walks.  Bringing our shovel in case we find gold.

Found some.

Dancing.

Mastering the moon.

Making our version of Marcel the Shell.

Decorating.

Lots of help decorating.

Put up the artificial tree with a few minor adjustments from our in house mechanic.

Made a button tree. 

A box of decorative pins, a green foam cone shape and a box of buttons that we bought at a garage sale.  Pin them all on and you have a button tree.  Amelia and I love buttons.  I won't touch my grandmother's box though...way too many memories of me running my hands thru it :)

and finally...coloring the newspaper's Nutcracker coloring contest (missed the deadline) and writing our letter to Santa.

There you are all up to date...kinda sorta.

As of Saturday we now have snow.  I have been waiting for it (can't believe I said that!), to take our Christmas card photos.  I had it all planned out and all I was missing was snow.    Who would have guessed that it wouldn't come til now.  And with a deadline, I was kinda worried about someone NOT cooperating (no names mentioned).  No worrying needed! Photos have been taken, bribes given, cards have been designed and cd burning is almost complete.  Whew.   

Kevin, our Elf, has arrived once again too. 

Working on one million other projects too....some will have to wait til after Christmas for obvious reasons.  HOWEVER...those bar stools that I have been working on since August...done.  

Went to the Nutcracker.  

Hopefully cutting down a little tree for our dining room this weekend.
