Amelia is TWO!

It doesn’t seem possible!  Two years ago I was in the hospital holding our new baby.  Time goes so quickly.  

Since Papa Bear has been in Oklahoma City these past days and is returning tonight (along with Grammy), we awoke to one present.  We will wait til Sunday morning to open the rest and then enjoy our Fairy Princess BALL!

Luckily, I picked the best present to give her!  She has been playing in it all morning.  A true fairy princess now...living in a castle.  

She did have a blueberry pancake with a candle in it for her Birthday breakfast.  I sang happy birthday and helped blowing out the candles...then she said..”again”.  We lit the candle and sang again.  Until lunch... :) 

Unfortunately, we are getting lots more snow and today is the Iditarod Ceremonial start.  The only one I have missed since living here has been the day Amelia was born.  I will miss today as well. Figured it would be chancy to drive into Anchorage and without Rob there it just isn’t the same.  We will spend Amelia’s day cozy inside.
