It took a few months..but Spring finally arrived in AK. Well...let me clarify. Spring in AK you still wear your coat and hat. So, Spring lasted a week or so and then it was summer just like that! Funny looking back at the pictures and watching the brown grass turn green. We actually broke out a short sleeve shirt toward the end.
Spring’s a great time to go to the zoo, which we did a couple times. The first time a hat and coat were a must and the paths were muddy and some still snow covered that was April. By May we ditched the jacket and were tempted to take our socks off :) Ah...Alaska.
