Summer 2011 in Alaska

Originally posted August 18, 2011 on iWeb:

Of course, it rained a lot this summer...sigh.  When we got back from the East coast, boy did we have some grass cutting, weeding, whipping and trimming to do!  We have quite a few projects going on too...couple windows being replaced, upper deck is being replaced, a bit of siding ... you guessed it...being replaced, as well as, a few other projects!  It is amazing that we got any of it done since we were gone and...oh yes...the rain. :)
It managed to be nice many days and Amelia, Rob and I enjoyed (I mean STILL enjoying) Alaska’s gorgeous summer.
We were visited by a gigantor moose, played in our new sandbox, took dolly out for a walk in dolly’s new stroller...several times, and watered the flowers that really didn’t need it, but Amelia discovered that the hose nozzle I gave her to play with was broken as no water came out...so she now knows how to use the real one.  We need rubber boots badly.
