The End of Summer in AK

It wasn’t much of a summer here in AK and luckily I missed a month of it going East! Broke a record...31 days of rain in a row...depressing.  Oh and it’s raining now as I type.
We did manage a few last of summer events on the rare gorgeous days. Amelia and I headed to the zoo and Rob, his Aunt Joan and Uncle Mike, Amelia and I headed to Hatcher’s Pass and the AK state fair.  His Aunt and Uncle came up for a vacation and it was our first time at the fair.  We loved it!  We loved blueberry picking too at Hatcher’s.  Found a new hike for those who are heading up to AK for a visit.  Our former fellow Alaskan friend, Jane, came up for a visit too.  Tim, Kylee and Seth stayed back in Houston...we will see you guys eventually!
Amelia turned 6 months old Sept 3rd ...can that be????!  Didn’t I just come home from the hospital with her???!  We attempted a 6 mos. photo shot, but Miss Amelia was a grouchy little ladybug...even still she was a cutie.
Snow will be heading down the mountain soon and Halloween prep will begin.  Already have Amelia’s costume and it’s appropriate :)
