Summer Trip 2010

Oiginally posted on iWeb: August 14, 2010

So much fun was had during Amelia’s trip East.  It was hot and I mean real hot and I am not sure if living in AK has made my tolerance less, but thank God for air conditioning!
All my nerves about how Amelia was going to behave for the long plane and car rides  went up in smoke when she slept the entire time both ways and for both long car rides...she was a trooper.
As with any trip, immediately arriving at the Wierbinski’s (sans Rob until the 15th) the fun began.  For three straight weeks we were on the go...Chuckie Cheese for Andrea’s party, Thunder Island, Sylvan Beach, shopping, Baltimore woods, Friendly’s of course, mean games of badminton, sequence and monopoly, bonfires and s’mores, barbeque at Donna’s, Kate’s pool and many many pranks.  Not to mention, finishing up wedding details!  Thanks to Adam for giving up his room for 3 weeks to me and Amelia!
After the wedding we headed to Ohio with a brief stop in PA to meet up with my friend Janelle who just got back from Paris and gave Amelia a “Madeline” book in French!  Thanks for making the trip Janelleeeeeee!  We loved seeing you!
We first met Oma and Opa and Aunt Natalie before heading to Grammy’s and meeting Grandpa Art for the first time.  Great Aunt Barb and Joan were there the next day and met Great Uncle Dave and Great Aunt Brenda too, not to mention Bo, Dave and Maryjane Mallory and the Studer family.  Boats, Malabar Farms, and some great dinners were some of the highlights!
Can’t wait til Christmas and anxious to get back for another summer!
