I take pictures of everything Amelia does...walks, sleeping or sometimes just standing at the door. I figure it is better to photograph it and say ... why did I do that? Than miss something I regret. Sometimes, I get a good shot!
We didn’t have much snow this winter really, even though, I do like to complain. Rob only got the tractor out a couple times...much to Amelia’s enjoyment :)
I have always loved holidays. Rob has always gone along when I have made the house haunted, dyed easter eggs, put hearts on the windows, and of course...put the christmas tree up the day after Halloween! Now, I have an even better reason (or excuse) to go all out every season and holiday and her name is Amelia. Valentines was no different. She got the full treatment of hearts and love.
Since the bears are snoozing Amelia and I have our daily walk or two down our street and back. Once the bears are out it is warm enough for us to head down to our friend Deana’s neighbor hood where there are pathways and sidewalks..and more importantly no mountains! We stop to visit Miss Deans too from time to time. For those who have visited us, you know we can’t really walk up and down our hill so we mange doing a couple laps around our flat street walking and now in our wagon! Unfortunately, not only do we have to watch out for bears soon...we have to keep an eye out for Moose and Coyote apparently! A moose chased us down our neighbors driveway after being angered by a neighbors dog OR maybe the red wagon??! The coyote appeared shortly after, but I doubt he would ever come up to us...a pack of wolves though...sigh...it’s just not the same as taking a stroll down to Gilley Lake at the Wierbinski’s. OH WAIT..remember the coyotes after the deer ??!! UGH.
We made our first trip to the museum in late March. The Imaginirium is in the museum that caters to kids and a special section for toddlers. Couldn’t peel Amelia away from it. She loved everything about it. I am beginning to think she likes anything where there people and especially other kids. Should be fun this summer!
Lastly, Amelia got her first haircut not too long ago. It had to be done.
